Turin-based Tuttosport writes that a Juventus supporter was taken to hospital with serious injuries after clashes between groups of supporters before the derby.
Juventus fans at the stadium threatened to storm the pitch if the derby started, but when kick-off finally took place they instead left in protest.
The 2-2 result in the last Serie A round was only enough for “Juve” to finish sixth, which would give them a Europa League spot next season, just like Milan, who lost 1-2 to Cagliari and finished fifth.
Instead, Roma finished third and struggling Como finished fourth, behind defending champions Inter and second-placed Napoli. Como have never played in the Champions League before.
