Two former champions are competing for this year's ATP title in Stockholm. American Tommy Paul, who won the tournament in 2021, and Grigor Dimitrov, winner in 2013, meet in the final at the Royal Tennis Hall.
Fourth-seeded Paul defeated Swiss veteran Stan Wawrinka in straight sets with set scores 6–3, 6–2 in Saturday's first semifinal. Then, third-seeded Dimitrov turned around a 0–2 deficit in sets to a 2–1 win against seventh-seeded Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor and won with scores 2–6, 7–5, 6–4.
On Friday, the two top-seeded players, Andrej Rubljov and Casper Ruud, were knocked out in the quarterfinals.
The final between Tommy Paul and Grigor Dimitrov begins at 3 pm on Sunday.
