The film, "A complete unknown", depicts 19-year-old Bob Dylan's arrival in New York in the early 1960s and how he begins his career as a folk musician.
Timothée Chalamet also sings Dylan's songs in the film. The first two to be released from the film are now out. They are "Girl from the north country" – where Chalamet sings with the film's Joan Baez, actress Monica Barbaro – and the classic "Like a rolling stone".
The entire album with the film's music will be released on December 25. The film has its Swedish cinema premiere on February 21.
"Dune" star Timothée Chalamet has received praise from Bob Dylan himself.
"Timmy is a brilliant actor, so I'm sure he'll be completely convincing as me. Or a younger version of me. Or another me", writes Dylan on X, the other day.
