Previously, Chief Operating Officer Anne Murac, Director of Communications Arthur Richer and Bertrand Méheut, who was responsible for the remuneration committee, left their positions.
After several departures, tensions increased among the organizers, and before he resigned, Cyril Linette was in conflict with Edgar Grospiron, chairman of the organizing committee.
"The stakeholders confirm their commitment to the success of the 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The shared priority is to continue the work already underway in the service of the project," the organizers wrote, adding that Linette's decision reflects a desire for "new energy through renewed governance" ahead of a crucial phase in the project.
