The CEO and his colleague, the HR manager at the same company, were caught on a so-called kiss camera during a Coldplay concert in Boston on Wednesday.
The clip has spread like wildfire over the internet – because the couple who were standing and hugging appeared to be struck by panic when they saw themselves on the camera. The woman covered her face with her hands and the man quickly disappeared from the picture.
Additionally, Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin commented on the couple's behavior at the moment.
Either they are having an affair or they are just very shy, said the singer.
In a statement on X, the company writes that the man has submitted his resignation and the board has approved it.
”As previously mentioned, Astronomer is firmly committed to following the values and culture that have guided us since we were founded. Our leaders are expected to set the standard for both behavior and accountability, and recently that standard was not met”, writes the company.
