"We have a very clear basic demand for a new government, to lower, not raise, taxes for people and businesses. We stand by that," says economic policy spokesperson Martin Ådahl.
C mainly wants to lower income tax for those with low and middle incomes, something the party has previously said. This means that those earning under 40,000 will pay less tax.
At the same time, it is a very conscious priority that we do not raise income tax for anyone, says Ådahl.
C wants to govern together with the Social Democrats and calls S and C the "base" of a possible government. But S wants to raise taxes for those earning over 70,000 kronor in the next term.
