The Scottish giants will play their upcoming home matches in the Scottish Cup behind closed doors, the Scottish Football Association has decided.
This comes after spectators clashed following the cup derby in March. More than 40 people were arrested after Rangers supporters confronted Celtic supporters who had entered the pitch to celebrate the team's penalty shootout win.
According to an independent report on the events, “life-threatening violence” nearly broke out.
But Celtic are not happy with the penalty, calling it "disproportionate" in a statement.
Both clubs will also pay £100,000 each, approximately SEK 1.2 million, to their cup opponents for lost revenue.
