The Canadian superstar began her first of 16 concerts in Paris with "On ne change pas" and was met with huge cheers and warm affection from the audience at La Défense Arena in the French capital.
Visibly moved by the reception, she shed a tear, according to BFMTV, and said:
I promised not to cry, I don't always keep my promises.
The concerts are the first time Celine Dion has been on stage since she announced in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, apart from a performance during the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony.
