Starting on Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Canadian megastar will perform a five-week concert series at La Défense Arena in Paris. The singer, who is living with the condition, will perform a total of ten concerts through October 14.

"This year I'm getting the best birthday present of my life. I get the chance to meet you and perform for you again in Paris, starting in September. I feel good, I'm strong, I'm excited. A little nervous, of course, but most of all I'm grateful. See you soon," Dion says in the video.

Dion, 58, was diagnosed with the neurological disorder stiff-person syndrome in 2022, which causes involuntary muscle contractions, and was forced to cancel her world tour in 2023.

In July 2024, she made a triumphant appearance at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics when, wearing a white, glittering dress, she sang Édith Piaf's "L'hymne à l'amour" from the first platform of the Eiffel Tower.

Many had also hoped that Dion would appear at the Eurovision Song Contest final in Basel, Switzerland, this spring. Dion won the contest for Switzerland in 1988, but a seizure stopped the performance at the last minute.
