Fox's new podcast series "The Life of Jesus" features over a hundred famous actors. Some of them completely unknowingly.

Among other things, Kristen Bell's voice has been used for Mary Magdalene, from an old audiobook recording. The same goes for Brian Cox, whose representative tells NME that Cox recorded an audiobook fifteen years ago and has not been asked to lend his voice to the new project.

Malcolm McDowell and John Rhys-Davies also claim to have been completely unaware that their voices would be used.

“We wouldn't have approved it if we had known about it,” says McDowell's representative.

However, Fox claims that the material was used with a correct license and that all participants approved their participation.

The series "The Life of Jesus" is divided into 52 episodes and is scheduled to premiere on November 30th.
