Lars Winnerbäck, Lisa Nilsson, Marie Göranzon, Thomas Stenström, Alexander Skarsgård and Daniela Rathana are among the celebrities who have signed a petition to save the climate and protect democracy.
In an article on Aftonbladet Debatt, they write that these issues have been ignored in recent years.
"Ahead of the election, politicians are trying to claim the Swedish flag for their own interests. We have created this appeal to bring together everyone who wants to defend democracy and the climate. This is not a right or left issue - this is about our common future," they conclude.
On Wednesday, several of the artists will appear at Almedalen Week on Gotland to raise the issue.
