Cecilia Hansson receives Eva Bonnier's 70-year foundation scholarship of 100,000 kronor for her book "Kafkalungan" which was published last year. In it, she weaves together Franz Kafka's life and literature with her own. Cecilia Hansson writes with solid knowledge of Kafka, according to the jury, and in a way that is serious but "not without humor".
The scholarship's goal is to support non-fiction and popular science storytelling, primarily about women and the female experience. Last year, the same scholarship went to Carina Burman.
