In the latest case, it's about an almond cake where the cartridge was discovered by Maria Hernevik in Gothenburg.
One wants to understand, of course. One can ask oneself what the purpose is? I don't think it's unpleasant, I just think it's strange, she says to the newspaper.
Previously, four cases of unlawful threats are being investigated after cartridges have been found in different cakes in Western Sweden and from the same manufacturer. The cakes were purchased in different stores.
Cake manufacturer Almondy has previously confirmed that the company suspects sabotage, but that in that case it must have occurred in the store since neither metal detectors nor camera surveillance have detected any internal deviations.
The public is urged to contact the police in case of further findings.
For reasons of securing evidence, we have a desire for them to contact the police for further handling of the cartridges. But they are not dangerous to have and handle, says the police's press spokesperson Jennifer Last to GP.
