The 25-year-old has broken his left collarbone and pelvis, suffered two facial fractures and sustained four minor brain hemorrhages.

"They've wondered if I'm alive," Andersson says of the reactions after the crash.

Andersson is currently sleeping about 16 hours a day and is undergoing rehabilitation. Despite the injuries, the goal is to return to the highest level. She has not seen the pictures from the crash.

At some point in the future, I will probably have to look at the pictures - whether I want to or not. But right now, it is a fresh and painful memory, even though it is not really a memory, says Andersson.
