Carolina Neurath changes tracks in her new SVT series this summer. The economics journalist interviews football wives in "Married to Football".

Carolina Neurath is married to the former national team player Pierre Bengtsson and has sought out other couples who are "married to football" to go behind the scenes, writes in a press release.

The six-part series gets its premiere in SVT on July 21.

What is it really like to live as a professional footballer and at the same time make family life work in a foreign country? The program promises unique and personal insights into the lives of some of Sweden's biggest football players and their families.

The players who participate with their partners in the series are Ken Sema, Patrik Carlgren, Rickard Magyar, Jordan Larsson, Erik Berg, Isak Hien, and Marcus Danielson.

Carolina Neurath is usually the host of "Ekonomibyrån" in SVT and has also published several novels, including "Speed Blind" and "Never Ask About Marianne".
