Donald Trump repeated on election day once again that Canada would be better off as a state in the USA. That was the final straw even for Poilievre, who gave a sharp response to the American president.
"President Trump, stay away from our election. The only ones who decide over Canada's future are the Canadian people at the ballot boxes", he wrote on X.
