On Saturday, Carmen Cernjul took silver in the women's 1,500 meters in the European Championship in athletics U20 in Tammerfors, Finland. She followed it up on Sunday by also taking silver in the 3,000 meters.
Cernjul ran at a time of 9.08.87.
Innes Fitzgerald, Great Britain, won by a large margin at a time of 8.46.39, which meant a new championship record.
Norwegian Wilma Bekkemoen Torbiörnsson took the bronze with a time of 9.10.70.
Sweden has now taken five medals during the European Championship U20: Cernjul's two silvers, Karl Ottfalk's silver and bronze in the 5,000 meters and 3,000 meters respectively, and Axel Rogös gold in pole vault.
