Carlos Alcaraz is ready for his third consecutive grand slam final. In the semifinal of the US Open, the Spanish world number two in tennis defeated Novak Djokovic in three straight sets, 6–4, 7–6, 6–2. It's a fantastic feeling to be in the final again, says Alcaraz.

Alcaraz continues to show fine form. The Spaniard has not lost a single set at Flushing Meadows. Now he is waiting for his third consecutive grand slam final.

On the whole, I played good tennis and I'm glad to be in my second final in US Open, says Alcaraz in his victory interview.

The 22-year-old won the French Championships but lost the Wimbledon final earlier this summer. In both finals, he met the world number one Jannik Sinner, Italy.

There is a chance that Alcaraz and Sinner will meet in their third consecutive grand slam final. Sinner will later tonight meet Felix Auger-Alissime, Canada, in his semifinal.

For the 38-year-old Djokovic, it may possibly be finished in grand slam context. The Serb, who has 24 grand slam titles, has not yet decided whether he will continue his career next year as well.
