“La det swinge” - named after the winning Eurovision song by the group Bobbysocks - is about Hanne Krogh and Elisabeth “Bettan” Andreassen, who took Norway from repeated defeats in Eurovision to victory in Gothenburg in 1985.
The film is directed by Per-Olav Sørensen, and Hanne Krogh is played by Vivild Falk Berg.
Swedish actor Carla Sehn, known for “Half of Malmö consists of guys who dumped me”, will play Elisabeth Andreassen.
Sehn tells VG that it “feels like a childhood dream I didn’t even know I had coming true”.
Both the song and Bobbysocks are iconic, so it is with great joy and a little reverence that I agreed to this festive film.
