Carl Johan Granqvist is one of the farmers featured in the new TV series “Swedish Farmers.” Together with his wife, Sara Staffare, a sommelier and cheese expert, Carl Johan Granqvist runs a farm in Bredsjö outside Hällefors. The couple has around 130 dairy sheep and their own dairy.
"Our foundation is that work should be fun and rewarding for everyone, even if not everything is fun at the moment. In our relationship, work adds a lot, and we never run out of topics for conversation," says Carl Johan Granqvist in a press release.
As the son of the well-known TV personality and restaurateur Carl Jan Granqvist, Carl Johan Granqvist brought with him an interest in food and cheese from home, he says.
"Swedish Farmers" follows life on five different farms and will be shown on TV3 and Viaplay, premiering on January 28, 2026.
