Swedish 400-meter runner Carl Bengtström is struggling with an injured thigh. He will miss this weekend's Swedish Championship competitions in Karlstad and it is uncertain whether he will have time to recover from his injury before the World Championship in Tokyo in September.
I think it will work out, but of course you can never know anything. Based on my own feeling, I think we will solve it, but I cannot promise anything, he says to Radiosporten.
Carl Bengtström ran a Swedish record, 47.94, in the 400 meter hurdles when he took European Championship bronze in Rome last summer.
