The puppet Tord made his debut at the gala last year. Now he is returning to the “Child Cancer Gala – The Swedish Humor Award” on September 28.
On September 21, the new program "Galasnack with Carina and Tord" will also be broadcast on Viaplay and TV3. There, the duo will meet several of this year's comedians who will appear at the gala, look back on the year's biggest comedy events and get ready for the Childhood Cancer Gala together with the viewers.
"The Children's Cancer Gala is about combining the seriousness of the Swedish Children's Cancer Foundation's important work with humor and warmth, and Tord contributes exactly the unexpected energy that is needed," says Carina Berg in a press release.
The gala is organised in collaboration between the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation and Viaplay and raises millions of kronor for the foundation.
