A man is convicted of raping a minor boy in Borås. The boy has an intellectual disability and the man worked as his caregiver, writes Borås Tidning.
The assault occurred during the Christmas holidays last year.
The caregiver is also convicted of money laundering. A woman in Stockholm was swindled out of 1.4 million kronor, of which 130,000 kronor ended up in the man's account.
He is sentenced to prison for three years and two months. He is to pay 240,000 kronor in damages to the victimized boy and 130,000 kronor to the woman.
The man, who is in his 40s, denies the crime.
