Two people have been taken to hospital after a single-vehicle accident outside Hässleholm, the police report.
It is initially assessed as a critical situation, says the police's press spokesperson Filip Annas to Kristianstadsbladet.
The car the people were traveling in collided with a tree. The rescue service was alerted to the accident site shortly after 9 pm on Saturday and describes the people as "seriously injured", according to the newspaper.
