The explosion occurred shortly after 3 a.m., according to Sydsvenskan, which was the first to report the incident. No one was injured, but the explosion caused a hole through the brick facade.
"Something that had been lying next to the facade caused this damage," said Sara Andersson of the police on Sunday morning.
No suspect has been arrested.
"It's a very intensive investigation that's underway. As I understand it, there's a lot of information that needs to be followed up," said Andersson.
