Canada again proved to be a cut above Finland when the bronze medal was awarded in Minnesota, USA.
Just like in the group stage, it was an even start to the match before Canada took control. Canada thus ended the championship with only one loss, in the semi-final against the Czech Republic.
However, Finland left the championship with three losses, the most bitter being against Sweden in the semi-finals.
It's hard to let go of such a loss, especially when you're so close, Aron Kiviharju tells Aftonbladet.
Maybe it was the semifinal loss that ultimately cost them the bronze medal.
"Physically we were there, but not mentally. It's human, and I understand that," says Kiviharju.
