During the European Championship in December, Roberts stepped up to 254 A-international matches, as many as record holder Åsa Mogensen. Now, the Swedish team captain can soon be the sole leader of all time.
Sweden meets Romania in two international matches, in Nyköping on March 6 and in Örebro two days later, and Jamina Roberts has been selected for the squad.
Two debutants, H65 Höör's center back Ofelia Shoai Hallberg and Sävehof's right back Thea Kylberg, are also included.
However, the 31-year-old center Carin Strömberg is missing, who recently left Norwegian bankrupt club Vipers Kristiansand for French Chambray Touraine.
"We will work on what we believe is the way forward both offensively and defensively and get the opportunity to see players we believe in from a longer perspective. We have a World Championship qualification later in April and hopefully the World Championship in the winter, but we must also dare to think towards the Olympic Games 2028", says national team coach Tomas Axnér in a press release.
