The high school students who are said to have voted for NMR are said to have told other students and staff about it. School principal Martin Malmberg writes in a letter to parents that staff perceived that "some had coordinated their votes with the aim of joking or provoking," according to Expressen.
The school is now taking action in the form of talks about democracy, human rights and ideology to be held throughout the high school, where Princess Estelle is in eighth grade.
"We will also review when and how the teaching of history and social studies provides students with knowledge about, among other things, fascism and Nazism," the school principal writes in the letter, according to Expressen.
