Thailand's military "dropped two bombs in the Poipet area" on Thursday, a statement from Cambodia's Ministry of Defense said.
There are no reports of injuries and Thailand has not commented on the incident.
The ongoing conflict between Thailand and Cambodia stems from a long-standing dispute over a colonial border. The latest unrest has been on and off since May, when fighting broke out after a deadly exchange of gunfire on the border. Both sides accuse each other of rekindling the feud over the 500-mile-long border.
Hundreds of thousands of civilians have been forced to leave their homes.
Last week, US President Donald Trump announced that he had held talks with the leaders of Thailand and Cambodia and that they had agreed to lay down their arms.
