VRT demands "full transparency" regarding the rules and the voting from the organizing EBU, writes Expressen which refers to the Belgian HLN.

The fact that Israel received twelve points, i.e. full score, from the Belgian people but zero points from the jury, has raised questions about whether the voting could be manipulated.

"VRT cooperates well with EBU on many levels, but without a serious answer to our concerns about the Eurovision Song Contest, we question our future participation", it is stated in a statement.

In Spain as well, the audience gave twelve points to the Israeli entry, while the Spanish professional jury did not award any points. The Spanish public service channel La 1 has also demanded an investigation into the voting.

The exact same thing happened in Sweden – twelve from the people, zero from the jury – but here no investigation has been demanded.
