Party supply chain Buttericks continues its operations, writes the company in a press release.

In January, Buttericks – with over 120 years behind it – filed for bankruptcy. Now, the bankruptcy administrator announces that a milestone has been reached where new investors have acquired the retail business consisting of five stores in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Halmstad, and Lund.

Thus, the stores will remain open as usual and the jobs are saved.

"It's great news that the stores now get a new ownership constellation that believes in the business and wants to continue keeping the stores open", says bankruptcy administrator Stefan Skeppstedt in the press release.

The staff was informed during the morning.

"I'm incredibly happy, relieved, and full of confidence for the future after this announcement", says Therese Carlsson, CEO of Buttericks, and continues: "We are so grateful and now we will build Buttericks for the next 120 years".
