The festival in Gothenburg has been launched as "Sweden's big festival for Gen Z" and this year it was visited by, among others, Macklemore, Bolaget, Alan Walker and Soppgirobygget.
It's back again in Frihamnen Arena on June 11-12, 2027. The organizers' goal is to attract 28,000 visitors over the two days.
It is not yet public which artists will perform at the festival. However, Gustav Pettersson, project manager for the Butterfly Festival, says in a press release that “the music should be recognizable, the party should permeate the entire area and there should always be something new to discover.”
