Minister of Energy and Enterprise Ebba Busch (KD) wants the Social Democrats to be involved when the government sits down with companies that are applying to build new nuclear power.

I would love to include S in it, because I think it is good for bringing down the price tag, getting a long-term perspective and paving the way for more power production in the short term. For example, wind power, she says in an interview with Dagens Industri .

Busch has previously stated that she would like to conclude a broad energy agreement across the bloc.

The reason why such an agreement was not reached when the parties negotiated in the autumn was partly the opposition of the Moderates and the Sweden Democrats, she says.

I can only regret the short-sightedness of some of my colleagues. If we are going to sign something that will be valid for 100 years in Sweden, then it must be more important than the next 280 days.
