The statement comes in a post on X, where the KD leader writes, among other things, that every third woman in Sweden feels unsafe when she goes outside in the evenings.
"KD wants pedophiles and people who have committed serious rapes to chemically castrate themselves - in order to be released on parole. If they don't castrate, they should be kept behind bars for a long time," Busch writes in the post.
In addition, she wants mandatory treatment programs for sex offenders and a mandatory post-release supervision period that should correspond to at least one-third of the sentence.
