In January and February, electricity prices in Norrland have been significantly higher than normal, and electricity experts have pointed to the new electricity cable between northern Sweden and Finland as one of several reasons. Swedish electricity flowed to a freezing Finland, resulting in even higher electricity prices in Finland than in Sweden.
