KD leader and Minister of Energy and Industry Ebba Busch said on SVT's 30 Minuten that she fears prices for new nuclear power could rise without a broad energy policy agreement.

"I think the price tag is affected by whether you have a handshake across the bloc boundary," Busch says.

Last autumn, talks on a broad energy agreement across the bloc had to be interrupted. Ebba Busch was clearly critical of the opposition from M and SD - and she stands by her words.

"I really regret that. I thought it was short-sighted, I thought it was petty."

She also says in the program:

"If you want to secure the big money from the business community to invest in nuclear power going forward, the money that will be spent in a few years, then it would have been great if we had taken full control last autumn."
