The election next year will be a "value election" where Swedish values stand against Islamist, writes KD leader Ebba Busch in a long post on X.

The KD leader claims that there are domestic contradictions in Sweden and that Islam cannot be "practiced in the same way in Sweden as it is practiced in Iran or Saudi Arabia”.

”It is not a conflict between Christians and Muslims. It is a conflict of values between Islamists' desire to influence Swedish social life and the values that characterize the Swedish social community”, she writes.

According to Ebba Busch, the parliamentary election next year will therefore become a "value election".

The KD leader writes that she sees a worrying development with "new parties with Islamist features" and that "demonstrations that give expression to gross anti-Semitism take over entire streets in our cities".

She further claims that the KD is prepared to "take responsibility for doing what is required for Islam to adapt to Sweden".
