The alarm came just before 10 a.m. Twelve passengers were on board at the time, the rescue service told TT.
Three people were taken to hospital by ambulance while two more were referred to a health centre, police said. The extent of the injuries of those taken to hospital is unclear.
"According to what we have received, there should not be any life-threatening injuries," says Tobias Aldgård from the rescue service.
The bus reportedly hit a deer and ended up in the ditch.
