Two people have been taken to hospital since two buses collided in central Malmö on Tuesday afternoon, according to the police.

There are no reports of serious personal injuries, says the police's press spokesperson Katarina Rusin.

After the collision, one of the buses crashed into a wall, whereupon the bus driver was wedged in. A passenger car was also involved in the accident, according to the police.

The bus driver was freed with the help of the rescue service and was then taken to hospital. One more person was taken to hospital in connection with the accident.

The alarm came in at 15.20. The accident is being investigated by the police as reckless endangerment in traffic.
