The police were alerted at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday that several loose horses were running on the E22 outside Hörby.
A bus has collided with one of the horses. The driver is injured and trapped, but is awake and able to talk, says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
Shortly after the alarm was received, the police announced that they had contacted the owner of the horses and that they had been captured. However, the road remains closed.
"It has a major impact on traffic," says Evelina Olsson.
None of the bus's four passengers were physically injured in the accident.
