The burglary occurred on Wednesday morning.

"He has stolen expensive and important computer equipment and 'ripped' important memory chips and RAM cards from machines. They are absolutely necessary for us to be able to work," Walker's manager Gunnar Greve told the newspaper Bergensavisen.

However, the police were able to quickly arrest a man in his 40s at a nearby address.

Alan Walker is one of the biggest artists in the Nordic region. His hit "Faded" has been played over two billion times on Spotify. The house on Josefine Street in central Oslo was purchased for over 35 million Norwegian kroner five years ago, according to VG.
