It is the Strandgården guesthouse in Mölle that has applied for a permit to serve alcohol in the morning in order to serve a glass of bubbly or a Gammel Dansk with the breakfast buffet - something that has been requested primarily by Danish guests, writes HD.

Abroad, it's more the rule than the exception to have a tub of cava so you can make a mimosa, owner Christer Paulsson tells the newspaper.

One requirement, however, is that the applicant must offer overnight accommodation.

It cannot be a bar that opens at 7 am. Now we are testing this for a year, and then we will make an evaluation, says the chairman of the building and environment committee, Fredrik Walderyd (M).
