K-pop band BTS released their comeback album on Friday after a four-year hiatus. The success was immediate. In one day, 3.98 million copies of "Arirang" were sold, according to record label Big Hit Music.
The K-pop group is set to perform at Gwanghwamun Square in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, South Korea, on Saturday. Up to 260,000 people are expected to attend the event.
The concert, BTS's first since 2022 after the seven members completed South Korea's mandatory military service, will be streamed on Netflix in over 190 countries.
