In a live broadcast on the South Korean media platform Weverse, the band confirms that there will be both a new album and a world tour starting in the spring of 2026, reports Variety.

It was the first time since September 2022 that all seven members – Jung Kook, V, Jimin, Suga, Jin, J-Hope and RM – were gathered and the 30-minute broadcast was seen by over 7.3 million fans in real time.

BTS will start recording new music in the USA in July and then plan for a "massive" world tour.

It will be a group album that will reflect each member's thoughts and ideas. We approach the album with the same attitude we had when we first started, said the BTS members during the broadcast.

Then we will visit fans all over the world, so we hope you are just as excited as we are.

The group's latest tour, "BTS: Permission to dance on stage", ended almost four years ago and was seen by over 4 million people. Since then, several of the band's members have undergone South Korea's compulsory military service.
