During the World Cup, Trump called FIFA President Gianni Infantino regarding a red card for US player Folarin Balogun, whose suspension was later lifted.
It is unclear whether DeChambeau called Trump, but R&A CEO Mark Darbon has not heard anything.
"I have not received a phone call from President Trump," Darbon told the BBC.
