Brynäs turned the tables and won against Malmö with 4–1 on Tuesday evening – after three goals in just 82 seconds. With this victory, the club is the best newcomer of all time in SHL.
Already in the previous round, the Gävle club tied Leksand's record of 83 points from the 2013/2014 season. But now Brynäs holds the record alone – and with eleven matches left in the regular season.
Brynäs leads the SHL table with 86 points, twelve points ahead of the closest pursuer Färjestad.
