Four days have passed since Leksand was relegated from the top league in Swedish ice hockey.
When Brynäs returned to home ice for the first time since Leksand's relegation from the Swedish Hockey League, supporters took the opportunity to rub salt in the wounds.
In the stands, two banners were unfurled with messages directed at the Dalalaget team: "Thank you Felix Sandström" and "We will never see Leksand again."
HV71 goalkeeper Sandström played a crucial role in the qualifying drama and was a major contributor to Leksand being forced to leave the SHL.
While mocking Leksand, Brynäs also reduced their quarterfinal series deficit against Växjö to 1–2.
Veteran Jakob Silfverberg was the match hero, scoring the 3–2 overtime goal.
