Brynäs, who fell 2–7 to Skellefteå in the first game, took control against Linköping and had an early 2–0 lead. In the second and third periods, things ran their course.
Nine of Brynäs' 35 shots were on target, resulting in a 9–2 victory.

Brynäs player Linus Ölund, the two-goal scorer, says the early goals gave him confidence.
