Brynäs, who fell 2–7 to Skellefteå in the first game, took control against Linköping and had an early 2–0 lead. In the second and third periods, things ran their course.
Nine of Brynäs' 35 shots were on target, resulting in a 9–2 victory.
"A total disaster, we're not doing one thing right. Embarrassing," says Linköping captain Oscar Fantenberg.
Brynäs player Linus Ölund, the two-goal scorer, says the early goals gave him confidence.
We were very hungry for revenge and had decided that we would have a good match for 60 minutes – and I think we did, says Ölund.
