There were goals, emotions and curses when Brynäs suffered a 1–2 loss to Storhamar in CHL.
Brynäs came to the game with three wins in the first four in CHL. Several key players, including star Nicklas Bäckström, were rested – and instead the squad was filled with ten inexperienced juniors.
The start was accordingly. After Brynäs had an early goal disallowed, Storhamar took the lead in the first period.
Then coach Niklas Gällstedt lost his patience. In the bench, instructions, curses – and a severe scolding echoed.
It looks like damn horse shit! Control the puck! Play behind, Gällstedt was heard screaming.
The scolding eventually took effect.
In the third period, Tyler Vesel equalized to 1–1, but Brynäs finally had to see themselves defeated by a hungry Storhamar who scored the decisive goal with eight minutes left of the period.
