Groups of Brygge supporters attacked shops and cafes as they walked through immigrant-dense Brussels areas such as Molenbeek and Jette on their way to the final arena on Sunday.

The police made a total of 60 arrests since riots broke out afterwards between Brygge supporters and local youths. The events were followed by unrest on Monday when the police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse angry demonstrators who protested against the racist attack.
